About the Journal

The Kaduna Journal of Geography (KJG) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed international journal published by the Department of Geography and Sustainability Studies, Kaduna State University, Nigeria. The journal provides a platform for the publication of high-quality, original research articles in Geography and Environmental Sciences, with an emphasis on advancing knowledge in physical geography, human geography, environmental management, climate change, sustainability, and related fields.

KJG (ISSN: 2636-5308 / eISSN: 3121-6463) operates under a continuous publication model, releasing a single volume/issue per calendar year. Articles are published online immediately upon final acceptance and added sequentially to the open annual issue. The journal is dedicated to upholding the highest academic and ethical standards. All submitted manuscripts undergo preliminary plagiarism screening, and only those with a similarity index of 20% or lower will be considered for peer review.

As an open-access journal, KJG publishes under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY-NC 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction provided the original work is properly cited. Authors retain full copyright and publishing rights.
