About the Journal

The Kaduna Journal of Geography (KJG) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed international journal published by the Department of Geography and Sustainability Studies, Kaduna State University, Nigeria. The journal provides a platform for the publication of high-quality, original research articles in Geography and Environmental Sciences, with an emphasis on advancing knowledge in physical geography, human geography, environmental management, climate change, sustainability, and related fields.

KJG is published quarterly (March, June, September, and December) and follows a hybrid publication model, releasing articles both collectively within issues and individually through continuous publication once accepted. The journal is committed to maintaining the highest academic and ethical standards. All submissions undergo plagiarism checks, with only manuscripts recording a similarity index of 20% or less considered for review.

As an open-access journal, KJG publishes under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction provided the original work is properly cited. Authors retain full copyright and publishing rights.
